Sometimes you don’t realise how tired a home looks, until it’s clean. Then when the sun hits the cladding, the windows gleam, and suddenly you remember what new felt like.

Yet too often the trades that promise that feeling fall short. Late arrivals. Vague quotes. Jobs rushed and forgotten.

Most homeowners have their own stories. Somewhere along the way, parts of the home-services industry stopped holding themselves accountable.

I built The SoftWash Company to write a new script.

For us, raising the bar is the bare minimum. Show up when we say we will. Treat every home as if it’s our own. Communicate clearly. Never cut corners. Never make excuses.

And we “paint the back of the fence”.

It’s our way of saying: do the unseen work with the same care as the parts everyone notices. The little details, perfectly rinsed windows, pathways left spotless, are what turn a simple wash into genuine service.
